Manufacturing

Osborne Propellers manufactures propellers using job molding, not machine molding.  This means every job is a custom job; there is no "assembly line" production.

Each propeller is custom-designed for a specific application.  First, a pattern is selected or manufactured to meet the design requirements.

The pattern is then inspected and verified before being sent to the foundry where skilled foundry workers construct a mold using sand.

A rigorous quality control program is maintained to ensure each propeller meets specification.  Osborne Propellers routinely manufactures to ISO Class 1 standards.
